Easier CSS

I would love to be able to customize directories in an easier way. For example, I need to inspect all elements in order to find what I need, change the background, etc. Themes are not editable which makes this slower too. Ideally, when we pick a theme, or having a custom theme, we could customize every element available.Alternatively, we could have a "map" of what element is where (somehow).
